Every approved wiki on Miraheze is created with a default set local user groups and user rights assigned to each. Changes to either the default user groups or user rights assigned to each are handled by Stewards via the Special:ManageWikiDefaultPermissions special page in ManageWiki on Revi HQ. Any changes to the default user groups or user rights will not effect already created wikis, but will effect wikis created after the change made by the Steward.
This page serves as a two-fold purpose, namely to:
- Briefly identify the purpose of each of the default user groups and list the user rights assigned to each by default
- Explain how to create a custom documentation page for each group on local wikis
