Cerb is a commercial customer support system (with the business model similar to GitLab EE). As they provide free evaluation license for one simulaneous login, I am using this for myself. If there's genuine need, I could consider getting a license, but the license costs eye-popping $444 per user per year ($37*12) or $40 per user per month for a hobby website, I don't think it will happen.

For now, wikimail response, some support emails, and other emails are responded from Cerb.

Architecture

  1. mail server receives incoming email, process them, and forwards the email to cerb@ mailbox.
  2. cerb copies email, every 10 minutes starting at 00 minutes, copies the email from cerb@ and deletes the email in the inbox.
  3. New tickets are created as cerb scans email, and cerb@ mailbox sends out email when agent sends email.
