  • Editing this wiki is a privilege, not a right.
  • You can request member permission on this wiki if you have access to other ReviNet services, and you can request access to other ReviNet resources if you can edit this wiki (with the exception of Cerb.)
    • Users with specific permissions on following sites can request member permission.
      • Rights holder of stewards, checkuser, and/or oversight in Wikimedia Production wikis.
      • Rights holder of sysadmin, stewards in Miraheze. (Subject to the global rights policy below.)

The key words "MUST", "MUST NOT", "REQUIRED", "SHALL", "SHALL NOT", "SHOULD", "SHOULD NOT", "RECOMMENDED", "MAY", and "OPTIONAL" in this document are to be interpreted as described in RFC 2119.

  • TL;DR: This is a walled garden. If you are not invited to edit / asked to do something, you MUST back off.
  • In this section, Staff refers to Miraheze global rights holder who are not explicitly authorized as members, or members with additional user rights which permissions exceeds their local permissions.
    • CVT is excluded, because CVT do not hold any user rights on this wiki per CVT opt-out wikis.
  • Staff MUST NOT perform any action they are not locally authorized to perform.
    • exemption are granted for following cases:
      • To perform actions which authorized local member explicitly requested. Requests are usually made via above request venue, but it may be requested elsewhere as long as the SUL user's identity can be verified.
      • To comply with Miraheze Terms of Use, Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, and any other Miraheze global policy.
      • To investigate and fix technical problems.
      • For members of this wiki with advanced global permission exceeding local, performing actions on their own user/user talk page and subpages, which has not been edited by other members, are explicitly allowed.
    • Actions made under policy exemption MUST justify themselves within edit/log summary, otherwise their exemptions SHALL NOT be acknowledged and will be treated as violation of the rule.
  • Violation of this policy will be automatically or manually awarded with indefinite block. They may claim exemption ex post facto via Miraheze Meta talk page, or request venue above.
  • Exemption is also granted to staff who are locally blocked (especially with the reason of 'persona non grata') to unblock themselves in order to make ways to enforce global policy. However they MUST block themselves again after the action.
